CASE STUDY

Johnstown Dental Practice of Wrexham contacted us in desperate need of a revamp! The owner of the practice was tired of the old looking timber fascia, and contacted us to help. Our client was clear on their desired brand image... Clinical, clean and tidy. We got to work on the design and presented our client with the visuals within a few days of the initial brief.

The decision for the correct material use on this project wasn't a difficult one. The practice is situated within a high foot traffic area, and is vulnerable to potential dents and damage. We opted for tray cladding panels folded and fabricated from 3mm thick aluminium, powder coated to a specific RAL colour. This not only offered adequate strength, but also gave our client the comfort in knowing that our install offered substantial longevity, as the annual painting and decorating fee of the existing shopfront was becoming an area of concern. The natural curvature of this building made the surveying stage slightly trickier. With careful measuring and planning, we overcame all obstacles and set up the production files so that the trays fit the buildings ascetics perfectly.

We designed this project to have varying levels of fascia protrusion, to offer striking depth to the overall look of the shop front. The lower trays offer only a 30mm return, in contrast to the upper central tray offering a mega 250mm! Overall, our client was extremely satisfied with our attention to detail and overall project delivery. Johnstown Dental Practice was a brilliant project to work on, and it will take some beating!
